Credit System

 

Winter term – maximal amount of points - 20.
I. Slide examination – 5 points:

A = 5 points
B = 4 points
C = 3 points
D = 2 points
E = 1 point

II. Average assessment of study results – 7 points.

The average evaluation from at least 5 written or oral controls of the study:

A = 7 points
B = 6 points
C = 5 points
D = 4 points
E = 3 points

III. Written test at the end of winter term – 5 points maximum.

45-50 = 5 points
40-44 = 4 points
35-39 = 3 points
30-34 = 2 points
25-29 = 1 point

IV. Absence at lessons - 3 points if the presence is 100% at the lessons.

Each compensated lesson is minus 1 point. Student can compensate only 3 lessons.
The absence in the case of sickness can be compensated without decrease of points.

Minimal number of points for credit achievement in winter term - 10 points.


Summer term – maximal amount of points - 20.

I. Slide examination – 5 points:

A = 5 points
B = 4 points
C = 3 points
D = 2 points
E = 1 point

II. Slide examination – 5 points:

A = 5 points
B = 4 points
C = 3 points
D = 2 points
E = 1 point

III. Average assessment of study results – 7 points.

The average evaluation from at least 5 written or oral controls of the study:

A = 7 points
B = 6 points
C = 5 points
D = 4 points
E = 3 points

IV. Absence at lessons - 3 points if the presence is 100 % at the lessons.

Each compensated lesson is minus 1 point. Student can compensate only 3 lessons.

V. Final exam – maximal amount of points – 60.

Exam consists of three parts:

- written test
- slide examination
- oral exam


A. Written test – maximal amount of points 15:

25 – 29 = 3 points
30 – 34 = 6 points
35 – 39 = 9 points
40 - 44 = 12 points
45 – 50 = 15 points

Student must complete the test minimally up to 50 % to be allowed to pass the practical slide examination.


Slide examination – maximal amount of points 15.

3 blind slides
Student must complete all 3 slides to be allowed to pass the oral exam. The evaluation is given as a complex mark in maximal value 15 points.

A = 15 points
B = 12 points
C = 9 points
D = 6 points
E = 3 points

C. Oral exam – 3 questions - maximal amount of points 30:

- general histology
- microscopic anatomy
- embryology

Student must answer 3 questions, the evaluation is given as a complex in maximal value 30 points.

A = 30 points
B = 24 points
C = 18 points
D = 12 points
E =   6 points


Total assessment:

50 - 60 points E
61 - 70 points D
71 - 80 points C
81 - 90 points B
91 -100 points A

Students who accede summer term (Histology 2) after interruption or repeting academic year obtain 10 points for winter term (Histology 1).
